This is one more vogue 9929 — I’ve published a photo of me using it before.
This gingham one, in particular, is truly simple to wear. It goes with just about whatever (ok perhaps not everything, however rather a great deal of things).

Every time I wear this gown I think, “man, I like gingham, I desire I had a gingham gown in every color.” I when had a lovely brown-and-cream silk gingham gown made in this pattern, which was similarly wearable. I believe that gingham gown lastly died when a pen exploded in my pocket. (Took me a long time to figure out that a few of those early ink rollerballs didn’t integrate well with pressurized airplane cabins … there were many casualties.)
This one is still going strong! perhaps I’ll wear it today …
